Every evaluation I do ends with a report you can actually use — not forty pages of jargon that end up in a drawer. You'll get plain-language findings, a clear picture of what's going on, and specific recommendations you can hand to a teacher, a pediatrician, or a therapist and act on right away. That's true of every evaluation here, whatever your insurance, at no added cost.

Attention
ADHD & executive functioning
ADHD evaluation is more than a checklist. Plenty of things look like ADHD — anxiety, learning disorders, sleep, trauma — and real ADHD often hides behind years of compensating. I use a full diagnostic battery: structured interview, standardized measures of attention and executive functioning, rating scales from the people who see you or your child daily, and a careful differential to rule the look-alikes in or out.
Often helpful when: a bright kid's grades don't match their ability · teachers keep using the words "focus" and "potential" · an adult has spent a lifetime working twice as hard to stay organized · medication is on the table and you want to be sure first.
Development
Autism spectrum
Autism evaluation across the lifespan — children, teens, and adults — including the quieter presentations that screenings and earlier evaluations often miss. I combine structured diagnostic interviewing, standardized measures, developmental history, and input from the people who know you best, integrated into a careful picture of how you experience and navigate the world. A diagnosis, where it fits, opens doors: services, accommodations, self-understanding.
Often helpful when: social rules feel like a language everyone else got the manual for · a daughter's struggles look different from the textbook · an adult has always sensed they were working from a different map · a school or provider said "traits" and stopped there.
Learning
Learning & psychoeducational
When school is hard, the reason matters. A psychoeducational evaluation looks at how a student learns — cognitive abilities, academic skills in reading, writing, and math, and the processing differences underneath — to explain the gap between effort and results and to name exactly what kind of help will work.
Often helpful when: reading isn't clicking despite good instruction · homework takes triple the time it should · a school evaluation found "no eligibility" but the struggle is obviously real · you're preparing for an IEP, 504, or college accommodations conversation.
Focused academic achievement testing — the kind used for specific learning disorder determination — is available as a distinct service that can stand alone or bolt onto any evaluation. It's an educational service rather than a medical one, which matters for how it's billed; details are on the Fees page. Clarity
Psychological & diagnostic
Sometimes the question is bigger than any one label: anxiety or ADHD or both; depression or something longer-standing; a picture nobody has been able to put together. A comprehensive psychological evaluation integrates cognitive, emotional, and personality assessment to bring diagnostic clarity to complicated presentations — including the ones where previous answers never quite fit.
Often helpful when: treatment isn't working and no one's sure why · the diagnoses have piled up without adding up · you or your provider need a clear diagnostic foundation before the next decision.
I evaluate ages 7 and up. I also carry a small therapy caseload for adolescents and adults — if that's what you're looking for, mention it when you reach out.

Translate
Heading into an IEP or 504 meeting?
- Your report already spells out, in plain language, the supports that will help. I can take those findings and write them into the form the school actually works from — present-level statements, goals, and accommodations mapped to services.
- It's the translation work most families end up doing alone at the table. I can do it for you instead.
Prepare
Need documentation for a test or a disability office?
- For the SAT, ACT, a college disability office, or a workplace request, I can prepare the specific letter those offices require, drawn from your evaluation.
Attend
Want me in the room?
- I can attend the IEP or 504 meeting with you, so there's a clinician there to speak to the findings directly.
Review
Already have an evaluation, and not sure it's right?
- An independent record review gives you a professional second opinion on a completed evaluation from another provider — whether it's sound, complete, and supportable. No new testing is involved.
- Honestly stated: a review can tell you whether the existing work holds up, but it can't produce new diagnoses that weren't tested for.
On a deadline? Every evaluation gets the same complete report. If timing is tight, private-pay clients can request priority scheduling to have it sooner.

The FAQ
Do you evaluate adults?
Yes. I evaluate ages 7 and up, with no upper age limit.
Do you do neuropsychological evaluations?
No — these are psychological and psychoeducational evaluations. If what you need is a neuropsychological workup, such as an evaluation for suspected dementia or another neurodegenerative condition, that's a different specialty, and I'll point you toward the right person rather than take the case.
How long does the whole process take?
From your first call, intake usually happens within a few weeks — that stretches as the schedule fills, so ask where things stand when you reach out. Testing follows intake, and your feedback session is set for about two weeks after your final testing session. That's where we go through the findings together, and you leave with the complete report.
What's included in the fee?
The whole evaluation: intake, a battery built around your question, integration, the feedback session, and a complete plain-language report. Reviewing existing records is part of it, always, at no separate charge.
